Description
Dr. Rolón-Dow is involved in the Race, Culture and Equity in Education Minor offered by the School of Education. She teaches the Urban Schools in Urban Landscapes (EDUC 459) course which is a requirement for the minor. EDUC 459 examines historical, sociocultural, economic, and political perspectives on the urban education experience. The course explores creating socially just educational environments that address issues of equity and draw upon the resources, opportunities, and challenges in urban contexts.
