Terri Villa

Assistant Director, Office of Clinical Studies

Terri Villa joined the Center for Excellence & Equity in Teacher Preparation as the Assistant Director of Office of Clinical Studies. Within this role, Terri’s primary focus is on teacher preparation field placements for Early Childhood and Elementary Education along with Secondary Education and selected 4+1 programs.  She is also responsible for the field placement clearance process which encompasses criminal background, child protection registry, and TB clearances.

Terri has worked in the Delaware public school system for many years and has held several positions which range from classroom teacher to district administration.  Terri holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from SUNY Stony Brook and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware.
